

CLIF and the Centre for Computational Linguistics of the University of Leuven are happy to announce the ninth CLIN meeting, which will be hosted by the Centre for Computational Linguistics of the University of Leuven. The local organisers of this year's meeting are Frank Van Eynde, Ness Schelkens and Ineke Schuurman.
The meeting will take place in the Faculty of Arts, University of Leuven (Blijde-Inkomststraat 21, 3000 Leuven). The default languages of the conference will be Dutch and English.

A list of accepted papers, together with all abstracts and a timetable, is available.
We intend to produce a volume of the proceedings of CLIN 98 before CLIN 99 ( a statement of intent for the authors is to be found here!) before CLIN 99. Papers for these proceedings will have to be
written in English; they will be reviewed by a committee to be
appointed in due time.
Preregistration for CLIN 98 is necessary. Please register before December 1, 1998.
The registration fee is BFr. 1.000, payable upon arrival at
the registration desk (cash only).
This fee includes lunch (warm meal!), coffee/tea, drinks, and a copy of last year's CLIN Proceedings (CLIN 97 was held in Nijmegen).
